Reddit Adds Trend Insights on Mobile, Guidebook for Brands

Reddit’s looking to give marketers more insight into Reddit discussions, with the expansion of its Reddit Pro Trends tool to its mobile app.

Reddit launched Reddit Pro Trends on desktop back in January, and now, it’s available in Reddit’s mobile analytics as well, providing more capacity to research Reddit data.

As explained by Reddit:

“You can monitor mentions of your business, track conversations featuring your keywords, and discover engagement opportunities in discussions as they happen in real time. When a customer asks about your product in a subreddit or a trending topic is taking off in your industry, you can now respond immediately from your phone vs. waiting hours later when the conversation has moved on.”

Tapping into trending engagement could yield more opportunities, and being available to answer key Redditor queries could also help to bolster your presence and reputation in the app.

In addition to this, Reddit’s also adding performance insights for comments to Reddit Pro’s “Performance” tab, in order to give you more insight into what’s driving engagement around your brand and/or niche.

As you can see in this example, you’ll now be able to dig into how individual comments are driving engagement, including total views, upvotes, replies and demographic insights.

So in addition to your post data, you’ll also be able to glean which specific comments are generating interest, which could help you optimize your Reddit presence.

Finally, Reddit’s also published a new “Reddit Pro Organic Playbook,” a 15-page guide on how to build your Reddit presence, and engage effectively in the app.

Which could be a valuable tool for those looking to get into Reddit to help promote their business.  

And Reddit makes a solid case for doing just that:
